What You Will Learn On This Course

You will learn how to needle felt both of these hares which will cover a range of techniques below:

  • Create and cover wire armature

  • Build up the core body - all measurements will be given

  • Wrap legs with a neat and even covering

  • Detail the feet and paws

  • Create a realistic looking eye and nose

  • Plant and trim long fur

  • Blend and mix carded wool for an graduated look

  • Create thin and detailed ears and learn how to use heat on wool

  • Add realistic looking whiskers

  • Have fun whilst learning all these techniques and consider creating your own style of hare

I will show you everything you need to needle felt your own Henry and Harriet hare. I talk you through how to do the wire armature, covering it, adding the legs, shaping the head, long fur, detailing the eyes and nose, whiskers, the whole lot!
